Sentinel Poetry Live!
On the April 1, 2006, we finally realised one of the phases of the Sentinel Poetry Movement project; a live event where our poets get off the Internet and meet up in the flesh, share a few drinks, jokes and lots of poetry. That first event featured ESIABA IROBI, MOLARA WOOD, TONI KAN, NNOROM AZUONYE & OBEMATA.
We are now putting together the second event slated for Saturday, May 6th, 2006 at the same venue:
Waterloo Gallery 14 Baylis Road, London SE1 1AA
· Do you want to read/perform your poem on that day? · Do you want to come and interact with other poets and poetry lovers?
Then make a note of that date: May 6th, 2006, Waterloo Gallery, London SE1 1AA. The Gallery is diagonally across the road from The Old Vic, 3 doors on the same side of the road as The Books Warehouse. You can’t miss it.
Parking is horrible in that area. We recommend you arrive by public transport: Nearest stations: Waterloo Main, Waterloo East Also Southwark (Jubilee Line), Waterloo (Jubilee, Bakerloo Line and Northern Lines)
Loads of buses: 1, 59, 76, 176, 171, 172, 188, 243, 341
Tickets: £4, £2 (Students/Concession) Time: 7pm—9pm
If you would like to read on that day or on a future date, please contact Nnorom 07812 755 751 Or send an e-mail to [email protected] |
