Welcome to The Sentinelle Short Fiction Group Surgery (SSFG) – an open online short story critique forum. If you are happy to have your short story reviewed in an open forum, the Sentinelle Short Fiction Surgery is for you.
How it works
Read any three short stories from the list below and write a review of each story by clicking on the comments button. Your review must be at least 100 words long but no more than 1000 words long. Keep it clean and professional. As soon as you have reviewed three stories, you may send a short story of your own up to 2500 words long to [email protected] and we will post and list it for reviews.
Submission guidelines
Your story WILL NOT be edited in any way and will be posted as you have submitted it. You are your own proofreader and editor. It is therefore important that you read and re-read your story before you submit it. What can you submit? You may submit a short story on any subject or style. The story does not have to be unpublished. It may well be a story from your already published short story collection that you wish to draw attention to. That’s OK. It may be a story you are struggling with and you want fresh eyes to take a look. Submission format Send your story as a Word or rtf attachment. (Please do not send pdf files). The stories should be in single line spacing. If you wish to submit a picture or illustration to enhance your story, feel free to do so. All submissions to [email protected] / Please note: SSFG will upload stories on an ongoing basis. If your story is published, you agree that it will remain on this blog for a minimum of 12 months after which, if you wish, you may ask us to delete it.
