JENEEN REYNOLDS

Bluee

The days before your presence, the emptiness so clear
My heart was filled with loneliness, desperation and fear
The nights were so cold, troubled and blue
Then along came my Bluee and helped to pull me through

A solitary person is someone very in need
Without a soul to talk to, all you can do is plead
Plead to the all mighty maker, why am I hear alone
Then along came my Angel and inside my heart had grown

He too knows how it feels to be lonely
Unfortunately he too has been forced to see
Not all people are kind and caring
But he knows now he will be safe here with me

A Cat indeed he may be, an animal but a special friend
I know his love will be with me, through to the very end
Every second I think of him, see him or hear him instead
He keeps off the feelings of emptiness, loneliness and dread

He looks so deep within me, he knows when I am sad
He sees my every problem and then sits on my lap
I stroke his soft grey fur and my problems whisk away
I am so lucky that this friend is defiantly here to stay

His eyes are whirlwinds of soft brown sand
His paws are so big, protective and brand
He smiles when I see him, and meows when I leave
He is my best friend, this I truly do believe
