| Unfortunately it is now virtually impossible to talk Bush and Blair out of the war. They will not stop until they have achieved whatever objective they have – which at the moment is not clear. If the war was to disarm Iraq, what was the evidence that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction? Admittedly Iraq had those weapons in the past, but claim they don’t have them anymore. Just like Americans believed George Bush when he claimed he had stopped his drinking, Saddam should have been given the benefit of the doubt. Hans Blix and the United Nations inspectors were the benefits of the doubt however the impatience of Bush and Blair would not see it through. Perhaps the Americans should now vote to remove George Bush from the office of president as a pre-emptive action since it is a well-known fact that alcoholics often relapse. It is all very depressing, but perhaps this should cheer you up as you begin this month of April:

Hopefully this crisis will be over soon and people can get back to living and loving again. Lot’s sexual healing – healing the wounds of war – healing the wounds of tyranny – healing the wounds of bereavement and where possible a little sexual healing to recreate a life or two lost in this war.
