"War & Love"

War & Love both have their roots in passion.
Often misguided passion. This may explain why so many poets throughout history have written about these related subjects. Now, that the United States is on the verge of starting an unprovoked war with Iraq, a country with a
nuclear bomb, it is time for the poet to speak once again. If the world needs anything right now, it's to hear from poets with a social conscience and some common sense.
We are looking for poems, essays, short stories and artwork that deal with War & Love. Limit all submissions to 10 pages.
Please provide as much contact info as possible including an email address if you have one and utilize it regularly. You may also send the submission as an email file to the address below, if you use snail mail. All work must be typed and accompanied by a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope,
brief bio and, a copy of the submission and bio on disc (Preferably in Microsoft Word with the author's name address and title of the work submitted). If you wish to include a photo of yourself for publication you may do so. For artwork to be considered please send: (Please use 8 1/2" x
11" sheets of white paper, no card stock, do not bind) Plastic slide sheet of up to 10 slides, accompanied by a slide list. A current resume One page artist's statement on current work SASE for return of slides (Sorry, we cannot return slides without SASE.) We can accept artwork in other
Formats if necessary. Please email me if you will need to send your work in another format.
